This is my plein air painting from the beautiful Porthcurno Beach, Cornwall, England, which I painted last week on the 27/5/22 on my weeklong trip exploring the stunning, magical and almost fairy tale like, South Western Coast of England.

It was a beautiful beach, which I had to sketch, and as it was in the evening, it was quiet and I could choose my spot to paint without much distraction.

A few people walked over for a chat, and two decided to take photos while I was painting.

I painted this in watercolour & gouache on Cold Pressed, 300gsm heavyweight watercolour paper. 5.9” x 8.3”
